Heather N. Middlebrooks

Biography/CV

Heather N. Middlebrooks discovered her passion for art and painting as a teenager. She grew up in the small close-knit community of Seymour, TN and is still inspired by the nature that surrounds her in her East Tennessee home. She attended the University of Tennessee where she received a BFA with a concentration in painting in 2003 and an MS with a concentration in Art Education in 2004. Heather is on educational leave from teaching at Belle Morris Elementary School where she shares her love of art with her students. Currently she is a MA Candidate for Arts Administration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She resides in Knoxville with her husband George, a graphic designer, as well as her cats and dog. In her spare time she also enjoys bird watching, gardening, baking and reading.
